   The Irrigation Association of Alabama, Inc. is a professional organization established in 1989 with members representing all specialties and disciplines of the industry.

The purpose of the IAA is to encourage development and economic advancement for members and server the wide range of professionals in the field of irrigation today.

   The Goals of the IAA are to:

  • Promote the development and use of irrigation for turf, ornamental horticulture, agriculture and all other facets of the greens industry.
  • Encourage and maintain high standards of professional practice and ethical conduct.
  • Foster high level of cooperation and accord among members and all segments of the industry.
  • Encourage improvement in skills and materials used by the profession.
  • Stimulate a positive image of the irrigation industry and encourage improved public opinion and esteem.
  • Promote legislation and/or public policies that favorably impact the irrigation industry.
  • Spokesperson for the profession.
